Mountains

I am homesick for my Appalachian Mountains as I always am in the fall. There's no place on earth that can soothe my soul like the mountains that I grew up in. I want to walk in the hills and find a sun warmed rock to sit on. There I would listen to the forest sounds and smell the fragrance of all the growth around me. Maybe I would even hear a groundhog whistle at me. There I would talk to God. There I would feel at home.

I would LOVE that. Like I told you in my earlier post, I enjoy being along with God, especially outside where I can enjoy and admire his handiwork. I think that I too would feel at home. I would like to, someday, visit Kentucky again, this time in the spring or early fall. It would be even better if you could come along. :)

Hi Linda, I saw you on Terri Tiffany's blog and thought I'd stop by for a visit. I noticed we have some things in common...such as many grandkids! You have a lovely blog, and I'll try to stop by again.
